The Beaver Valley Bulldogges Puppy Process - How we run our breeding program.

Previous Puppies - All in Loving homes!

Puppies will be ready to go to their new homes between 8 to 10 weeks of age, accompanied by a blanket that carries their mother's scent and a small supply of food.

EMBARK DNA TESTED

All of our breeding dogs have been DNA tested and paired accordingly.

DNA testing in dogs is crucial for breeders as it provides valuable insights into the genetic health and lineage of their breeding stock. By identifying potential hereditary conditions and genetic traits, breeders can make informed decisions that enhance the quality and health of their puppies. This proactive approach not only helps in maintaining breed standards but also contributes to the overall well-being of the dogs, ensuring that future generations are healthier and more robust.

PUPPY CARE PROGRAM

Choosing a puppy from Beaver Valley Bulldogges means your new friend has been vet checked, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. We ensure each puppy receives a thorough health examination, vaccinations for disease protection, and deworming to eliminate parasites.

Microchipping offers reliable identification, helping lost puppies return home.

This dedication to health gives you confidence in your new companion and sets the stage for a happy life together.

SOCIALIZATION

Breeders play a vital role in socializing puppies to ensure they become well-adjusted adults. Exposing them to household noises like vacuum cleaners and doorbells helps them adapt to their future environments. Additionally, introducing puppies to children in a controlled way teaches gentle interactions. This safe and stimulating environment fosters confidence and adaptability, laying the foundation for a happy life.

We will be following the Empowered Badass Breeder program recommendations on puppy socialization.

Hazel May - Formerly Chai

"I have been involved in the dog world for many years now including showing and breeding Cairn Terriers. Never have I met or been involved with such a responsible and caring breeder. Sarah and her family are truly the best. Hazel Mae is a beautiful, smart, well adjusted puppy. Let's not forget the cutest most adorable puppy ever. You will not regret getting a puppy from any of Beaver Valleys litters."

Nicki - Formerly Noodle

"She remains unbelievably affectionate, loving every single person and dog that she MUST meet on the street, and happily playing with one-and-all at doggy daycare every week. She has a great personality, which is all that counts, of course!"

Bailey - Formerly Dumpling

"The vet is soooo impressed with her health, perfect nose, teeth etc. he’s never seen an OEB in such great condition. Bailey is amazing, almost done her puppy classes (smartest one there) she already knows everything they’re teaching. Just going for socializing.

She’s absolutely gorgeous and cuddly. Really reminds me of Abbey."

Sage - Formerly Clove

Sarah is amazing! She is always excited to hear about how her puppies are doing after they go home. Sarah sends us great reading material and suggestions to help with anything we need for training. It has made this whole process a breeze!

We were not planning on getting a puppy right away but fell in love with Sage (formally Clove) and she has been nothing but an absolute dream. She is smart beyond belief, super engaged in training and enjoys every moment of it. We are could not be happier with her.

Thanks to Sarah for putting so much love, passion and commitment into every single dog and puppy in her care.

Moose - Formerly Granite

All I can say is: if you’re getting a puppy, get it from Sarah. I wholeheartedly second everything that’s been said by previous reviewers (except, of course, that they have the cutest puppy ever… because that honour most certainly goes to mine).

In all seriousness, the difference between this puppy and our previous one (from a different breeder) is night and day. We loved our last dog dearly, but he was a scared, anxious little guy right from the beginning. With a lot of training, he came a long way, but I don’t think he ever fully overcame the lack of early socialization. At the time, I didn’t know enough to know what to look for in a breeder or how important that early foundation really is.

So when it came time to get another dog, I did a lot of research. Honestly, I wasn’t sure I’d find a breeder who truly did all the things the research recommends for optimal puppy development - it’s a huge undertaking. But then I found Sarah and Beaver Valley Bulldogges.

I can’t say enough good things about her. It’s immediately obvious that this is so much more than a business. She genuinely and deeply cares about the puppies she’s raising. She is kind, thoughtful, and incredibly generous with her time. She answered the long list of questions I had while I was searching for a breeder, and she continues to be supportive and responsive even now that our little guy is home.

As many good things as I could say about Sarah, ultimately the proof really is in the pudding - the pudding, in this case, being my adorable little house hippo of a puppy. He is everything I could have hoped for and a true example of what optimal early development can look like. He’s sweet, affectionate, curious, comfortable with people and new experiences, not timid or fearful, and incredibly clever. It’s honestly remarkable what a difference a breeder can make in those first eight weeks of a puppy’s life.

I am so, so grateful to Sarah for how thoughtfully and lovingly she raised our littlest family member 🤗
